Renewable Resources (NAWARO)
The change from irreplaceable resources (fossile and mineral resources)
to renewable materials plays a major role for the transformation to a
sustainable economic system.
The inexhaustible potencial of raw materials produced by nature
contains a multitude of vegetal and animal nature structures and
substances already known or still to discover. Using these materials to
an optimum according to today's requirements and developing new
solutions that meet the technical, economical and ecological criteria
as well as conventional technologies, or better than those, these are
the challenges for the future.
GrAT projects show that switching to the new basis of raw materials not
only meets the criteria of a sustainable development but also brings up
functional advantages compared to conventional solutions based on
irreplaceable resources (fossile and mineral resources).
