  • Appropriate Technology Camp 2025

After the pilot program of the Appropriate Technology Camp at GrAT TU Vienna had met with great approval the previous year, it was held again in 2025. This time, four students from Yonsei University’s Department of Industrial Design participated. As with the first edition, the program took place at GrAT’s site in Böheimkirchen and was made possible through scholarships from the Guwon Foundation.

Once again, participants could look forward to a diverse program of lectures, practical exercises, shared experiences, and discussions. Through these activities, they gained valuable insights into current topics of sustainability as well as an introduction to the field of Appropriate Technologies. The hands-on sessions were particularly appreciated, as they not only provided a refreshing change from the otherwise often theoretical academic routine but also offered the opportunity to unleash their creativity while gaining valuable experiences and inspiration from nature.
